1 Information We Collect
1.1 Data You Enter Into the App (Stored Locally on Your Device)
All operational data you create inside DD-Cafe is stored exclusively on your device using an encrypted local database (Hive). This includes:
- Table layout and table status records
- Product / menu items and prices
- Sales and order history
- Customer names and credit (veresiye) records
- Expense and supplier debt records
- Internal staff notes and activity logs
- Staff user accounts (username and password stored locally)
1.2 Subscription and Purchase Data (RevenueCat)
DD-Cafe uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions (Premium and Platinum plans). When you make a purchase, RevenueCat processes the transaction through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. RevenueCat receives an anonymous App User ID (a randomly generated code such as "CAFE_XXXXXXXX") to verify your entitlements. No personally identifiable information — such as your name, email address, or payment card details — is shared with RevenueCat by us. Please refer to RevenueCat's own privacy policy for details of how they handle transaction data.
1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- We do not collect device location data.
- We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports through any third-party analytics service.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or share data with advertisers.
- We do not transmit your operational business data (tables, customers, sales, expenses) to any server.
2 How We Use the Information
The data stored locally on your device is used solely to operate the features of DD-Cafe: managing tables, recording orders, tracking customer debts, monitoring expenses, and generating business reports. The anonymous subscription identifier is used only to verify which premium features your account is entitled to access.
3 Data Storage and Security
All business data entered into DD-Cafe is stored locally on your device using Hive, a lightweight local database. This data never leaves your device unless you manually export it.
The optional Data Backup feature exports all locally stored business data — including your anonymous subscription identifier — into a password-free ZIP file that you then share manually via your device's share sheet. Similarly, the PDF Report Export feature allows you to share business reports (sales, expenses, profit/loss) as PDF files via your device's share sheet. Docendo Disco does not receive or store either of these exported files. You are solely responsible for where you choose to send or store them.
We recommend keeping your device protected with a screen lock and keeping the admin password changed from the default. Docendo Disco is not responsible for data loss resulting from device damage, factory reset, or uninstallation of the application.
4 Data Sharing and Third Parties
Docendo Disco does not sell, trade, or rent your data to any third party. The only third-party service integrated into DD-Cafe is RevenueCat, which is used exclusively for subscription verification. No other data is shared with any external service.
5 Your Rights
Because all operational data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You may delete any record directly within the application. You also have the following rights:
- Right of access: All your data is visible to you within the app at all times.
- Right to deletion: You can delete individual records within the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the application.
- Account deletion request: If you wish to request deletion of your anonymous subscription record held by RevenueCat, please contact Docendo Disco at the address below and we will process your request within 30 days.
6 Children's Privacy
DD-Cafe is a business management tool intended for use by adults operating café or restaurant businesses. The application is not directed at children under the age of 13 and Docendo Disco does not knowingly collect any information from children.
7 Changes to This Privacy Policy
Docendo Disco may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website at www.docendodisco.com and, where required by applicable law, we will notify you through a notice within the application. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Continued use of DD-Cafe after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
